Shooting for Dekikan: A Korean Online School in Japan
As an international filmmaker and photographer based in Japan, I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Dekikan, a Korean online school serving students across Japan. This project was particularly meaningful because it combined my passion for cross-cultural storytelling with my experience in video production and branding photography.
As a young and growing school, Dekikan approached me with a modest budget. Rather than seeing this as a limitation, I embraced it as an opportunity to collaborate closely and prioritize what mattered most: creating clear, authentic visuals that could strengthen their online presence and appeal to prospective students.
By streamlining the shoot and focusing on their core storytelling needs, I captured real interactions, highlighted the atmosphere of online learning, and produced visuals that reflect both professionalism and approachability.
