Kimono Model Photo-shooting with an apparel company

JH STUDIO, Jongho Lee's Kimono Model Shooting

I recently had the honor of directing a model photoshoot for Kimono Yubi Atelier, a brand that combines the timeless elegance of the Japanese kimono with the refined beauty of hijab fashion. Designed for luxury clients in the Middle East who admire Japanese culture, their vision represents a harmonious blend of tradition, modesty, and modern luxury.

Although my specialty is videography, being involved in this photography project was both inspiring and rewarding. Capturing the delicate textures, graceful silhouettes, and the fusion of cultural aesthetics gave me a new perspective on storytelling through still images.

For me, this photoshoot was more than just fashion photography, but it was about celebrating diversity and creating imagery that resonates with a global audience. Projects like this remind me of why I love working at the intersection of videography, photography, and cultural design: to craft visuals that connect people across borders.

If you’re interested in luxury fashion content production in Japan: from kimono brand photography to videography for international audiences—I’d be delighted to collaborate and help bring your vision to life.
