Capturing the Energy of Tech For Summit 2024 in Shibuya
Earlier this year, I had the privilege of joining Tech For Summit 2024, held in the vibrant district of Shibuya, Tokyo. The summit brought together innovators, entrepreneurs, and creators from around the world to share their vision for the future of technology—and I was honored to contribute through my craft: videography.
My Role: Main Stage Videography
For this high-profile event, I was appointed by the director to take charge of the main stage videography. My responsibility was to ensure that every keynote, panel discussion, and live performance was not only recorded but captured with a sense of energy and presence that matched the scale of the summit.
One of my strengths as a videographer is working with a gimbal setup to deliver smooth, dynamic shots. At an event like Tech For Summit, the atmosphere is electric—the stage lights, the audience reactions, the speakers’ energy. My goal was to translate that feeling into visual storytelling. Using the gimbal, I created sweeping, cinematic movements that gave viewers the sense of being right there in the middle of the action.
